Can I join the army while taking clonazepam and prozac?

I am planning on joining the army but don't know if this will get in the way. I take because I for some reason fear having a heart attack

  1. that is very doubtful
  2. No, what would you do in battle if you couldn't get to your meds? You wouldn't be much help, in fact you would get your team killed trying to protect you. Sorry.
  3. Nope. But dont tell them... And quit taking that crap
  4. If you are currently on meds for a mental condition then you can't join any branch.
  5. The only way you can join is quit taking the meds and later dont say a word about it to anyone, including the recruiter , otherwise your DQ from any branch.
  6. no. you must be off the meds at least 12 monthsband function normally before a waiver will be considered.. and in your case.. it will NOT be granted. too many mental health issues just screaming here. no self respecting doctor would give you meds because you are afraid of having a heart attack, there is something far worse going on..
  7. I guess if the doctors can not find that u have a problem, then u can join. but it is important for u not to risk your health by crossing the limit. if u think that u r medically unfit, plz dont join the army. life of an army officer/soldier is tough.
